During the student senate meeting on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014, the Associated Students of Eastern New Mexico University (ASENMU) Student Senate unanimously voted to allocate $759.29 to Fusion Funk Collective so that they may attend the 2014 Oriental Potpourri Festival and belly dance workshops in Albuquerque, NM on March 21st – March 23rd. The workshops will help them to learn further tricks of their trade, allowing them to bring those skills back to ENMU so fusion funk can offer more to students.
Nelsha Peterson was sworn in as a new ASENMU Student Senator who will represent the College of Liberal Arts.
The ASENMU Student Senate and the ENMU Administration Staff would also like to remind the students of Eastern New Mexico University that on Thursday, March 20th, 2014, there will be a Student Concerns Forum from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at the Campus Union Building, Sandia Room. If you have any concerns, please come by and give them voice.
If you are interested in running for ASENMU Student Senate next semester, please declare your candidacy from Wednesday, March 19th to Friday, March 21st at the Campus Union Building Lobby from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
